Job Description
Omni Academy is looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our in-house creative team in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. The ideal candidate should possess strong editing skills, a good eye for visual storytelling, and the ability to produce engaging, professional video content for different digital platforms.
Job Type: Full-time, On-site
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Work Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos for social media, marketing campaigns, promotional content, and other digital platforms.
- Produce engaging short-form and long-form video content.
- Add transitions, captions, graphics, music, sound effects, and other creative elements.
- Ensure all videos maintain consistent quality and follow brand standards.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand content requirements.
- Manage multiple video-editing projects and meet agreed deadlines.
- Review and refine videos based on feedback.
- Stay updated with current editing trends and social-media video formats.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a Video Editor.
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar video-editing software.
- Good understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, audio, and visual storytelling.
- Creativity and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A relevant degree or diploma is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
