Every child has a story waiting to be told. Our Online Creative Writing Course for Kids Aged 5–14 helps young learners turn wild ideas into confident, well-written stories, poems and descriptions — all through fun, play-based writing exercises guided by expert writing coaches.
Delivered in live, small-group virtual classes, the course builds imagination, vocabulary, grammar and self-expression step by step. Children learn how to plan a story, create unforgettable characters, paint pictures with words and polish their work like real authors. Lessons are grouped by age (5–7, 8–10 and 11–14) so every child learns at the right pace and level.

Course Content
The course runs for 8 weeks with one live online class per week (60 minutes).
• Module 1 – Welcome to the Story World: Meet your coach and classmates; the building blocks of a story; idea-hunting games and the “Idea Jar”.
• Module 2 – Amazing Characters: Create heroes, villains, and funny sidekicks; give characters feelings, habits, and secrets.
• Module 3 – Settings & Sensory Description: Build magical worlds; use the five senses and strong adjectives to paint pictures with words.
• Module 4 – Plot & Problem Solving: Beginning, middle, and end; adding a problem, a twist, and a satisfying ending.
• Module 5 – Poems, Rhymes & Word Play: Acrostic poems, rhyming couplets, similes, metaphors, and silly tongue-twisters.
• Module 6 – Dialogue & Different Genres: Writing conversations that sound real; try adventure, fantasy, mystery, and diary writing.
• Module 7 – Edit Like an Author: Revise, proofread, and improve word choice; give and receive friendly feedback.
• Module 8 – Author Showcase: Finish and illustrate a final story, read it aloud to the class, and receive a Certificate of Completion.

Course prerequisite
No prior writing experience is required. Children should be able to read at a basic level in English (younger learners may be supported by a parent) and have a laptop, tablet, or computer with internet, a notebook, and a pencil.
